what does linux got?

Mac got Grey Screen.

then both system is reboot :P

    As long as I have been using Virtual Box for Linux, I only got the Kernel Panic on Linux Mint 16 Petra, haven't gotten it since on any other distro.

    Well if you use GNOME then you have something similar to the blue screen where :( something went wrong. I agree with drathlukan kernel panic is the most common.

    to kernel panic:
    • boot "frugal" from a squashfs file
    • remount /lib/live/mount/medium -o remount,rw
    • update squashfs file and cp to /lib/live/mount/medium/live
    • sync and then try to run poweroff :) so far updating a frugal install this way has worked fine. i suppose rebooting from another medium also works. obviously not for production (but who on earth would boot frugal for production?)
