I would go back to Manjaro, and I still might very soon.

Probably another Puppy GNU/Linux distro...with a newer kernel / networking security updates...

(had a ball with a number of versions for years...from 4.2.1 through Lucid, Precise, Slacko and Racy)

    perhaps:

         TahrPup http://distrowatch.com/?newsid=08678,

         FatDog64 http://distro.ibiblio.org/fatdog/web/

         or Simplicity http://simplicitylinux.org/

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what is for lunch.  Liberty is a well armed lamb contesting the outcome of the vote.

if i wasnt on arch.... hmmm...  probably opensuse that seems to be my other fav for when i am too lazy to setup a system.

Yesterday I went on a walk and saw a little chipmunk sitting on a log.   I went over and asked the chipmunk what he was doing there.  He looked up at me with his little eyes and now i only have one leg.

If I weren't going to use Arch, I'd use that thing I've been building manually from literally nothing (it's barely a fully functioning chroot right now).  Why? Because at heart I'm all about that source, 'bout that source, no proprietaries...

If I wasn't such a Gentoo hack, I'd probably be using Arch.

Once I get a better computer. I will be on Gentoo. I don't think I can do anything with 2 cores.

If Arch didn't exist, I would probably be using either Linux Lite or elementary OS.

At the moment, I'm using openSUSE's 42.1 Leap with Gnome, and it's great.

A Debian Sid-based distribution such as siduction or Semplice would be "my other distro."
Compared to the past, there seems not much to choose from, as far as the variety of distros go. Mostly ubuntu-based.
