constant reboot 14.04 based distros

just a heads up. I installed both Pinguy 14.04 and Gnome Ubuntu 14.04. They both refused to turn off and instead rebooted. PLayed with grub for hours, no go. Finally found that by turning off USB 3.0, it worked as it should. It seems there is a work around and that a kernel update fixes it. I tried neither yet.

I wonder if it is those distros. I ran Ubuntu 14.04 for a week and it was fine for me but thank you for the heads up.
