Conky Configuration

Hey all!

I got pretty bored, so I learned how to make Conky scripts because my original one was getting pretty old. I used my old Conky script as a base and built upwards with it.

I pretty much changed sizes of bars, added a music monitor (with mocp, not MPD), and moved some things around.

Otherwise, Here it is...

If you want my conky script or you want some ideas for your own, here is the code...

    Way to go Valtam!

The green goes really well with the whole setup. I gotta say its a pretty nice setup for a gkrellm convert :)
  • ValtamValtam Registered
Yeh, I still like gkrellm, its the extensibility of conky that has won me over. I plan to have a left sidebar next, with more detailed email and process information, and later have a complete desktop background with all the info's I need.
  • Lyxer01Lyxer01 Registered
I recomend you get a conky that lays up on the top of your screen horizontally. Its very convenient and is quite minimal. You could stuff your music info and such up there :D

Here is one i currently have (but im not using at the moment)

I picked this baby off the Arch forums if i remember correctly. obviously it needs to reconfigure to your likings. But i think you will enjoy playing around with it :)

I am not sure how often Valtam is on these days...  hopefully he gets back to folks

Yesterday I went on a walk and saw a little chipmunk sitting on a log.   I went over and asked the chipmunk what he was doing there.  He looked up at me with his little eyes and now i only have one leg.
